Hot-handed Luke visits Cats after scoring 19 for Lakers

Former University of Arizona standout Luke Walton attended UA's 91-82 win over Washington last night, standing up and cheering on his former teammates. "I've got the jitters going on," he said, as he pounded his chest to say his heart was beating hard. "It's great."

Despite being down at halftime, UA would win, Walton predicted.

He said he missed UA and the atmosphere.

"I love it here. I love the energy."

Understandably, his situation with the Los Angeles Lakers is a bit strange as he's sitting on the bench most games. This week he played some, scoring 19 in an outing.

"It's been tough," he said. "I don't know what's going on."

He returned to Los Angeles this morning for the team's 10 a.m. practice.
